He received his M.Sc. (Eng.) and D.Sc. (Eng.) from Aalto University, Finland. Prof. Sillanpää’s publications have been cited over 44,000 times (Google Scholar), and he has received numerous awards for research and innovation. Among these, he is the first Laureate of the Scientific Committee on the Problems of the Environment (SCOPE)’s Young Investigator Award.
