Upon her discharge, and suffering from a bad case of wanderlust, she spent several years working as a casual seasonal worker in hotels and holiday camps in the Scottish Highlands and on England’s East Coast.She became a Christian at the age of twenty-eight and spent a year at a Methodist Bible College. Five years later, she settled down to marriage and children.Always having felt the urge to write, her first book took her almost eleven years to complete – "Due to life’s ups-and-downs." Her second book was completed soon after.
