He firs...view moreWilliam Edgar Boggan was born and raised in the United States Army, where his father served for a number of years in the Office of the Chief of Information at the Pentagon. He first wrote fiction in elementary school, using his father’s portable Olympia typewriter, inspired by a selection of writing by children, Don’t Get Perconel with a Chicken, edited by the humorist H. Allen Smith. Boggan studied English and American literature at Furman University. Following college, he found employment as a carpenter and as an attendant at a mental health facility. Since then, he has worked as a writer, editor, and designer on numerous print and online publications, and now freelances as a writer and editorial consultant. He lives in Atlanta with four cats.view less
