My books blend my love for the strange and fantastical with a deep appreciation of the human condition and a fondness for adventure.
I live in Texas, where I spend time gardening, woodworking, drinking coffee, hanging out with family and friends, reading, and writing.
I studied history, linguistics, philosophy, computer science, and Chinese at university. I’ve worked at university libraries, in a bookstore, overseas with computer and satellite networks, and in the export shipping industry.
I also write non-fiction and run a website for writers, WritingAssets.com, where I help others who want to build a writing life and business.view less
