While doing so he visited rocket sites such as Peenemuende in Germany and La Coupole in France; then back in the United States traveled to its great rocket and space attractions. In addition, he added an M.A. in Military History.
All this led to writing 'The Road to Modern Rocketry' with the objective of giving readers the great history of the modern rocket (but not too extensive) along with short descriptions of the forty-one 'attractions' over the five countries - Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Russia, and the United States - where the stories occurred.view less
