From 1966 to 1996 he worked at the Institute of Volcanology, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia, and has since worked as Research Professor at the Center for Volcanological Research, Colima University, Colima, Mexico. Prof. Zobin is a prolific author in the areas of volcanic seismology and seismic hazard, with many published research articles, and with books published in three languages: Russian, Spanish, and English.view less
