She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and an MS from Columbia University in New York, New York. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She was honored by the Mount Sinai emergency department residency program as Nurse of the Year in 2013 and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing. She has held a number of nursing leadership positions at Mount Sinai Medical Center.view less
