She lived in Vancouver for a year and then took a train to the East coast. She did stints at three universities, worked in cafeterias and fast food restaurants, and sorted mail at a post office. What always fascinated her were people and their relationships. She wrote everywhere she went. She married and had two children, who are raising families of their own now. They live in Los Angeles and Janet works as a freelance writer, writing magazine articles about the environment and sustainability. She's still fascinated by people and their relationships. Much of what she's learned inspired her novel, "Now I Remember I Love You."view less
