Norm...view moreNorman Snell was born in the small mining town of Reedies in 1949. His father and grandfather prospected and ran sheep stations in the Murchison District of Western Australia. Norman spent his early years on a sheep station and later attended primary school in the outback town of Cue. He competed his secondary and later university education in Perth, the capital of Western Australia. Until his retirement he was a Geography teacher and later a Department Head in Western Australian secondary schools throughout the state. He had written and published a number of Geography textbooks, which are widely used in the State. Since his retirement he has lived in the City of Mandurah, south of Perth, where he continues to write.
Perseverance. A tale of death and deceit in outback Western Australia, is his first fiction novel. It has been well received by those who have read it. He is currently working on a sequel.view less
