Gi...view moreAuthor G.I.F.T.D. is from College Park, GA on Atlanta's Southside. The 34 year gained an interest in writing at an early age from his mother who introduced him to urban fiction. Giftd, of course not his real name, stands for Got It From The Dirt, a moniker he uses to exemplify the struggle most inner city children face everyday. With a solid foundation and a love for reading, Giftd began "penning his pain". He got into writing poetry and raps, and later decided to put together his first novel. He attended Shorter University where he majored in Business Management. Giftd lives in Atlanta with his wife and children where he still writes and hopes to some day write movie scriptsview less
