She knew from a young age that she would be an author, adoptive parent, work in television and dedicat...view moreKathy Taber-Montgomery, author of We Live In A Zoo, has always had a love of children’s books. She knew from a young age that she would be an author, adoptive parent, work in television and dedicate her life to helping others. Taber-Montgomery grew up in Oswego, New York and credits her family, friends, teachers and co-workers for helping her become successful in meeting the goals she had at such a young age.
Kathy worked in television in Syracuse, NY for close to ten years, and helped many youth and adults with special needs. She later relocated with her husband Shon who served in the USArmy. They have adopted 4 children: Nick, Tyler, Eyan and Jewel, she notes that her friends, family and experiences are truly her inspiration to write.
Kathy’s hope is that children will grow to love the stories she has written and will write in the future, and that they will help bring them knowledge, hope and inspiration.view less
