At five years old he found a first grade reader on the sidewalk and mastered it before he ever went to school. In school he excelled in writing, always choosing historical subjects for class reports. His interest in history came from touring different parts of the U.S. (and Europe one year) every summer as a child including a trip to the "colonies" in 1976 for the ultimate bicentennial celebrations. In his senior year (high school) he was chosen editor of the creative writing magazine. Life circumstances forced him to choose to leave university in his junior year, but his writing never stopped nor his love for history. He never understood why some people thought history boring because he saw that a phrase here or a decision there could've altered everything. That's when he started investigating the "what if" of alternate history and the concept of "history repeating itself." His editorial letters have appeared in several newspapers. Having perfected his technique (both in research and form) and choosing a genre he is familiar with, he now wishes to share his gift for storytelling with the world. His nine year old daughter has had the advantage of having several children's stories written for her that almost always have historical or mythical lessons. Those stories she has enjoyed as he hopes you will enjoy this one.view less
