Personal experience: Book begins with Second World War as seen through the eyes of a child aged four through eight when uprooted from family following Germany's threat to invade Britain in June 1940: of being shipped to complete strangers in America for four years, detailing experiences during this time. Book tells of return to Britain, followed by four years in Italy, then back to U.S.
2. As daughter of renowned British musician, published in 1997 with Thames Publishing in Britain, a biography of Sir Keith Falkner. Returned to States (again) in 1999. In 2005 took a course given by eminent writer Win Horner, and have been writing ever since. Presently writing sequel to book now wish to publish.
3. Have lived in States most of life currently living in Columbia, Missouri where have lived off and on since 1961. Now retired from various positions (Asst Dir. of Older Adults Transportation Service but mainly as Director for Foster Grandparent Program; also owner of a private business.) Now write daily. Interests are music, singing, reading, cooking, entertaining and knitting, among others.view less
