He has spent many years reading great authors of truth-centered fiction. He has also reveled in the realities of spiritual truth learned by way of endless study of the Scripture. His status as an ordained minister provided the opportunity for the study of theology and for pondering the nature, character, and eternity of God.
Through the process of reading various genres of literature and the study of the Bible, Livengood developed a deep desire to communicate truth about God through the medium of fiction. For him, nothing could be more important than telling others about the perfect, infinite, eternal God, in whom we live and move and have our being.
Livengood lives with his wife, Carol, and two sons, Christopher and Joel, in New Haven, Indiana. He currently works in the medical field and is a bivocational pastor.view less
