Reviews for Why the Bible Makes Sense

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Some of the information and the archeaological information were good and interesting. What I didn't like were all the different versions the author chose to use which always makes me suspicious. I also didn't like all the Catholic references he used. Is the author confusing Catholocism with Christianity?
On pg 72 the author mentions the trinity and tries to claim the KJV contains a clear declaration of the trinity in 1 John 5:7-8 which refutes his statement in saying.."these three are one." One God. My issue with people mentioning trinity is that it is NOWHERE in the Bible.
On pg 75 the author wrote...Jesus saves us by grace alone and then gave verses to look up. The first Acts 2:37-38 proves the author is incorrect in his statement. The response of what to do was...
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say "grace alone".
