About this ebook

AUTHOR’S NOTE
Throughout Latin America in the 1970s and ‘80s, a new form of state terrorism took root and spread. It came to be known as disappearance: paramilitary forces aligned with national dictatorships, themselves supported and funded by a succession of U.S. administrations and often trained by French or Israeli experts, kidnapped people
