About this ebook

He lied, he cheated. He destroyed her life.

How difficult could killing him be?

Madeline Piatro devoted four years of her life to her boyfriend Carlton—and, in return, got romance, flowers, and the best sex she'd ever had. But then he dumped her—by e-mail, no less! He used her, he broke her heart...and he even cost her the marketing job she dearly loved. Now Maddy's on a mission. She wants revenge and she wants her career back.

But Maddy's about to discover that getting even, no matter how justifiable, isn't as easy as it might at first appear—even with a batch of arsenic brownies, the help of a professional (if bumbling) hit man, and the advice and best wishes of her very best friends.

This was a fast read. If you have ever been dumped, if you have ever a fantasy about running the guy who done you wrong over with you car, this is the book for you! Maddy loves Carlton, Carlton dumps Maddy, Maddy hires Dick to make Carlton pay!

Fun summer read. Not one to normally go for "chick lit," I enjoyed this story and finished in a day. The book goes back and forth between the past and present chapter by chapter, a literary technique I enjoy. As Madeline Piatro tells us more and more about her boyfriend Charlton, our dislike for the rat turns to hate. Who says revenge isn't sweet?

A revenge story...short and sweet. I have someone I'd love to have made poison brownies for as well.

I totally enjoyed this book although at times I just wanted to shake Maddy for being too gullible. I just read this book in 2 hours, delicious.

This book, I thought, was quite good! It did have a few repetitive phrases, but no biggie. I thought the story was interesting and its characters well developed. There was some good LOL humor in it, too!

Yuck. Got an advanced copy. It started off rather promising....a women scorned, how to get revenge. Sadly, Jo needs a better editor. Repetitive sentences, 100+ pages of whining and self-wallow (I wanted to kill the main character too!) Just goes on and on and on. The last 25 pages good, however. Not a winner.
