      Amazing book.......I was excited to read about the infamous Vallerand twins, I truly couldn't put the book down. Quite an intriguing read!

      This book was just eh for me. Celia is put through a lot! For most of the book Griffen, the hero, was callous and unfeeling. And took total advantage of her and the situation! I had very mixed feeling about the whole book!

      Liked this book a lot. About a woman just married on her way to LA with her new husband when pirates attack, kill everyone, and take her hostage. On the island, she is saved by her husband's twin brother, who is a pirate, and brought to LA. On the way he ravishes her. She is accepted into her husbands family. Months later, her husbands twin is delivered back to his family's home almost dead. She nurses him back to health and they fall in love. Only to find out her husband is alive. Anyways, it leads to a happy ending.

      This is the first and only historical romance book i love to read over and over and over again. The previous member did an injustice by posting spoilers but if you are reading this book it has untiring adventure, love, lust and seduction... key ingredients for a full packed historical romance book.About the rape thing, the story called for it as he was known to be a savage pirate of the 19th century. Of course, today he'll be thrown in prison.Imagine, pirate adventures, kill the bad guy, rescue the damsel :) all other historical romance books became boring by comparison

      This is a PIRATE romance! Which is very cool, because I inadvertently read it on Talk Like a Pirate Day. And I didn't know until I started reading it that Only With Your Love was a pirate book. There's a pirate god out there somewhere, isn't there?Celia Vallerand is on her way to New Orleans with her new husband Philippe when their ship is attacked by pirates. More than that, they're just about to make love for the first time when the attack comes. Celia is taken by the pirate Legare to be a "treat" for his brother--whose women don't tend to live long.Back ashore, as she's pleading for her life, she swears that the Vallerand family will ransom her. Hearing the name Vallerand prompts rival pirate captain Griffin to fight for her, then to rescue her.I really can't go any further into the plot, because there are surprises around every turn.Suffice it to say that both Celia and Justin (Cpt. Griffin) find themselves in impossible situations, both emotionally and otherwise. Only With Your Love has the type of emotional impact I truly enjoy--when it seems that there's no good choice for the characters, and I can't guess how the author's going to manage to give them an honest HEA.
