".... Concise yet comprehensive - the most complete single volume commentary I have seen." - Jhn MacArthur.".... for the student who is serious about seeing Christ in the Word." Warren W Wiersbe. The above authors speak highly of William MacDonald's single Bible commentry, although any single volume commantary cannot go into great depth, MacDonald's effort is highly commended, he has an easily understood writing style which flows well, an excellent single volume commentry on the Scriptures and would serve well to give many Christians an over view of the Bible and a wonderful insight of Jesus.
