About this ebook
Imagine sitting in a restaurant enjoying a delicious meal with an unsaved friend. One glance at the ketchup bottle or the salt and pepper shakers brings a smile to your face. Why? Thanks to Would You Like Fries with That?, you know you can use those everyday objects to visually illustrate several important gospel truths.
All Christians have some idea of the basic beliefs of Christianity. We know that Jesus Christ is God's Son, who died on the cross, was buried and rose on the third day, to pay for our sins. We know the message, but how do we share it? The secret of success in evangelism comes with understanding. As the old Chinese proverb says, "Tell me and I will forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I will understand."
When a person can visualize the message of the gospel, it makes more sense! This book is a resource to help you picture God's offer of salvation when you're talking with others.
Nothing is more exciting!

USING YOUR MAN DOWN
BUTTON
During an extensive tour of a fire station, which included a spectacular ride straight up in the air standing inside the truck’s 135-foot ladder tower, I noticed a red button on the firefighter’s radio.
I asked about it, and he explained that it was the man down
button. This button is activated only in emergencies. It’s reserved for highest priority situations.
When a firefighter activates the button, a signal is sent as an immediate flashing alert on the dispatch’s monitor. Dispatch then breaks over the radio with priority traffic and states that they are receiving the man down
alert from a firefighter at a specific location.
The Rapid Intervention Team is engaged immediately. The R.I.T.
is a group of highly trained individuals whose sole purpose at each fire is to rescue endangered firefighters.
The incident commander dispatches every resource of the department in the rescue process. Though the fire rages, priority is the man down.
Heaven works in a similar way. When an individual spiritually wakes up, he realizes that the oxygen is out of his tank, the smoke is so thick in his life that visibility is zero, and the floor in the burning building has just collapsed, trapping him.
His life flashes in front of him. He realizes he is out of options.
Right then he remembers his man down
button.
Spiritually speaking, the moment you activate your man down
button, Jesus shows up to your rescue. You become priority. He dispatches the resources of His Heavenly Rapid Intervention Team to rescue you from sin, guilt, and all wrongdoing. His death and resurrection become your salvation.
The Bible Says:
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.
—Psalm 145:18-19
Remember This:
Since Jesus could bear your sins more easily than he could the thought of your helplessness, He chose to die for you.
—Max Lucado
A GIFT CARD
Giving gift cards instead of a gift for a birthday or other holiday has become a popular trend in recent years. People enjoy getting them because they can choose whatever they want from the store.
Gift cards often come with expiration dates. Sometimes I will stuff one in my wallet and forget about it. A gift card can be worth $100 one day, and then the next day you might as well throw it in the garbage because it’s expired. You’ve missed the opportunity to spend it!
God’s gift of forgiveness is like a gift card that’s more valuable than anything we can imagine. He paid for it with His Son’s life. God is holding that priceless gift card out to us, waiting for us to take it. However, if we don’t accept it and use it, then it’s of no value to
