About this ebook
Jake is a New York City fireman and devoted family man. Eric is climbing the corporate ladder at the expense of his wife and children. On a fateful Tuesday in September, two strangers meet for a startling moment in a smoke-filled stairway. Only one will leave the Twin Towers alive. Will he find his way home?
The last thing Jake Bryan knew was the roar of the World Trade Center collapsing on top of him and his fellow firefighters. The man in the hospital bed remembers nothing. Not rushing with his teammates up the stairway of the south tower to help trapped victims. Not being blasted from the building. And not the woman sitting by his bedside who says she is his wife.
Jamie Bryan will do anything to help her beloved husband regain his memory, and with it their storybook family life with their small daughter, Sierra. But that means helping Jake rediscover the one thing Jamie has never shared with him: his deep faith in God. Jake’s fondest prayer for his wife is about to have an impact beyond anything he could possibly have conceived.
One Tuesday Morning is a love story like none you have ever read: tender, moving, commemorating the tragedy and heroism of September 11 and portraying the far-reaching power of God’s faithfulness and a good man’s love.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book had me hooked form the first paragraph. The story of loss, redemption and love set around 9/11. At times it was heart renching but so well crafted. The characters and situations were believable that I felt I knew them. Must be read with a box of tissues!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really can't put this story into words, it is that good.I have always been interested in stories about 9/11.But when I read this one, I cried for hours!I loved this book with all my heart, it really shows how sad that day was.One of the best stories ever written.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I hear that everyone has a twin running around on this Earth. This is a story based on 9/11/2001. The second airplane has just crashed into the second Twin Tower. People are rushing to get down the stairs since the elevators are broken. During one point in time, while on firefighter was going up, another is coming down the stairs. They glance at each other only to see how much they look alike. A few hours later, the same person is found a truck a few miles from the Towers. The chief of firefighters recognizes him as one of his own. They rush him to a nearby hospital where they bandage his burns and put a cast on his broken ankle. They ask him alot of personal questions which he is unable to answer. Their diagnosis is that he has amnesia. He can only remember one name and that is of his daughter. His wife is called and she comes within hours. She is so relieved that her husband has been found and is alive even though it is going to be months for him to recover. She is told of his amnesia and is rather concerned that he remembers his daughter but not her. Finally, the day has come when he is able to come home. His wife happens to glance at his medical chart at the end of his bed. His blood type entry is different than in the years past. She discusses this issue with the floornurse and is assured that if his was any different, he wouldn't have been able to have the blood transfusions needed to save his life.Their pre-school daughter is overjoyed to see her daddy come him and they can be a family again. Her mother tells her that her daddy is tired from being in the hospital so she might need to remind daddy of their activities. She is glad to do this and they make sure that she knows nothing of his amnesia.Their family life has been made whole once again until the day starts when the man starts to have flashbacks. Over time, the firefighter's wife and the man, that she thinks is her husband, explore who he really is. He remembers that he has a wife and a son who are waiting at home for himKingsbury writing makes you feel as if you know her characters. I really felt for the wife since she thinks that her husband did not die in the blazing fires only to find out that he had died heroically.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This story about two men caught in the maelstrom of the South Tower in the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001 gives pause for thought about what is really important in life, and how even terrible events can be used by God to work positive outcomes in individual lives.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What a powerful book! I truly enjoyed this version of what might have happened to a firefighter doing his job in the world's most horrendous disaster!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5this book is awesome
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really liked this book. It was an emotional roll coaster. I felt for each of the people in this story. I liked that 9/11 was not the forefront of the story, but it was about the love of God and these two couples. I felt that there was more to the story at the end. It was nice to know that there are 2 more books after. I want to know how Eric and his wife heal. I want more about Clay. I want more about Jaime!!!!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book captured my attention in the beginning, but the middle slowed down. Had to finally push myself to finish it.....and oh my!! I have never read a book that had me crying for the final 30 pages! Extremely emotional! Heavy on the religion.....but what a story!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A great read that teacher about trust in God and family values.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5loved how the book didn't necessarily have a fairy tale ending and in the end, everything right came to pass
