      Angry Birds Gameplay Tips

      In the original Angry Birds game, the aim is to take out the pigs by destroying the fortress they hide within. To do this, you need to pull your bird back in the catapult and then release it, hurling it towards the structure and making it topple. You need to take all of the pigs out in as few moves as possible. The more birds you have left at the end, the higher the score you will achieve.

      You really want to achieve three stars on each level. For this, you need to get the highest score that you can. The key to this is to be as accurate as you possibly can have as many birds as possible left over. For each bird left, you will get 10,000 points added to your score. In order to destroy the fortress with as few birds as possible, you want to aim for the weak spots. It really is a case of looking and thinking, rather than firing at random.

      Do make sure that you wait for the bird you just shot to disappear before trying to shoot another. 

      Also, bear in mind the different materials the structures are built out of. Some may be wooden, others may be stone. The more solid the material, the harder to will be to take out. Wherever you can, aim for the less solid material, such as wood.

      When taking down the structures, you want to cause as much damage as possible. The more damage you incur, the higher the points. Combine both of these elements to achieve the highest score possible and claim three stars.

      If you find it easier, zoom out by pinching the screen and use the entire map. This may help you to aim. Also, keep an eye on your previous shots. After you fire a bird, you will see the journey your bird took with a dotted line. You can use this to help you with your next shot.

      Don’t think that you have to use purely straightforward shots. Sometimes catapulting your bird high into the air might have a good effect. Interesting shots can be helpful.

      Quite often on levels, you will see things like explosives. Definitely aim for these. They will have been put there for a reason and will always help, not hinder.
