    Jason and Madison meet on an online dating site and decide they like each other. After a brief, illegal sexual encounter, they are summoned to Prove Your Marriage Island where they endure treacherous events in which they are challenged physically and mentally to authenticate their love for one another. They may not have started their time on the island in love, but they will learn to truly love each other by the end. Having to rely on and support one another throughout the process, they realize that they are meant to be and hope to succeed in every grueling challenge so that they can be happy together forever. After enduring physical pain and tests of emotion, their time on Prove Your Marriage Island comes to an end—and it’s a very happy ending at that.

      The year is 5020. The world is a very different place, though some things remain the same. My name is Jason Stevenson; I am a 50-year-old virgin. Yes, I am 50 years old and have never had sex. I haven’t had any luck with women a single day in my life. Even the new state-of-the-art robot wives have rejected me. Every girl I’ve met on Earth has told me she would not sleep with me … even if I were the last man living. In today’s society, men outnumber women three to one, so the odds are stacked against me.

      Most people call me a bum or a couch potato. They say I practically live on my computer and that I live in the past; that I’m a dreamer who doesn’t want to accept the real world.

      People still meet on dating websites, so I have a profile on each one that exists. One night I was cruising through cyberspace checking out all of my profiles when all of a sudden a message popped up on my screen: Shadowgirl18 would like to video chat.

      I accepted the request, and suddenly, staring back at me on the screen, there she was: the girl who had occupied my wildest dreams. Her hair was fire engine red and had purple streaks in it. Her shirt was purple and had the words gothic devil on it. She had the perfect size body—not too big, not too skinny, but just enough for me.

      Uh, hello. Earthling? Are you high?

      No. My name is Madison Metorite. I am from the planet Hestryooo in the Vamporo universe.

      You’re on something good. I have had a few beers and I am a bit buzzed, but I know I’m not crazy. Did old Ricky Davis put you up to this? Are y’all just trying to pull one over on me?

      This is not a joke, Earthling Jason Stevenson.

      Madison lifted up her shirt a little. At first, I thought she was going to flash me. But then I saw a strange birthmark just below her breast. I could see what should have been her heart, but was just a hole, through her skin.

      "You can see my insides are much different from yours. My ancestry is a combination of zombies and vampires. But on the outside I look human. For years, the zombie and vampire armies fought over who would rule my planet. Neither side won.

      "One day, my mother, a nurse for the zombie army, and my father who was a great vampire warrior, fell in love. On my planet this love is forbidden … so much so that it is illegal. My family lives in hiding; we are considered outcasts. We will all be killed if we are ever found.
