    My name is Dawn,and I have 3 adult children and one on the way. We live in the UK. I am clairaudient and my family are aware of it. It's not something I thrust down their throats in any way. Their own beliefs, are just that, their own, yet they have an insight through me to a world beyond if they so choose.I have taught in person to groups I ran for a couple of years successfully and now focus on one to one work with clients.I have had many experiences over a few years, at one stage not a day would pass without something different happening. That was over 2 years. Various experiences, never repeating.I knew I had to communicate to understand what was happening, so I set about that. Once I did all the daily happenings with spirit interaction stopped. No more need for it.That is what my book 'Knowing Is beyond Belief' is all about. My learnings, my mistakes, what they want you to know and how they want so very much to bridge the gap that we as humans have with them, people in spirit. That's who they are:people. They want humans to see them for literally that, not spooks or ghouls that they may be perceived as. This is their message and it is mine too. I know many people are opening their minds, we are moving forward, just very glad to be a part of it.

      Introduction

      The reasons for this book coming about are a few but I hope to pass on to readers what my experience of clairaudience has been. I am sharing in this book some of the words that have been spoken to me from spirit. I have learned many things, from spirit and hope to inspire and give people maybe a different or new understanding of how things can be for people in spirit who have yet to cross over. Maybe help you to learn what some people in spirit feel about their situation and how it can be for some and how more people like me and hopefully you, are needed to understand and possibly help with this work.

      Spirit themselves have voiced to me that they want me to share with people for better understanding. It is also for me to let you in on my world, what life is like for someone who is strongly clairaudient. I want to share with you how it really is for someone in my position to take it all on board and how it is for me to live with spirit in my life on a daily basis. I continue to learn each and every day with every conversation that takes place between people in spirit and me. I do not speak with authority but from personal experience. It is not a belief system that I hold; it is an absolute knowing from direct interaction. The book title is something I thought up not for this but its how I feel, knowing is beyond a belief. A belief is something we hold onto with hope of it being true (if positive) and a knowing is knowledge we have gained from actual experience, an absolute knowing. I am simply sharing what I have heard and/or learnt with you. It is a great honour to be able to do this important work that I never take for granted, the least I can do is try to share this knowledge and insight.

      I am not trying to prove anything and know that some may not accept what I am passing on. That is perfectly fine. That is not what it is about, that is not why I am doing it. If just a few people take it into consideration that, maybe some old rigid teachings are possibly not the sum of it all and there are grey areas not just black and white then mission accomplished for me. I believe most of us who have a belief in the afterlife recognise that we know very little about it and any new information gleaned is of great benefit for all concerned. A lot of people are afraid of the idea of spirits, and I want to lessen that fear, after all, it is simply a fear of the unknown. I am just an ordinary person so my terminology throughout may be different from your own in reference to spirits/guides/angels but I hope my efforts succeed in being clear.

      Throughout this book, I have put spirits words to me in speech marks; if I refer to anyone else, I have made that clear for the reader to understand. I want to refrain from stating ’a spirit said’ after each sentence spoke as it will become too repetitive and pointless. I will use the term hearing for convenience; although it has nothing to do with actual hearing (subjective) if it did, then when I put my fingers in my ears I wouldn’t be able to hear them! My spirit helpers refer to it as thought projections. In addition, I have not specified who is speaking to me throughout, as I don’t think it is relevant. The content is relevant.

      I am writing this in the here and now daily so you may see that certain things change naturally, as I progress. As they project the words to my mind is how I have written them, the words may not all be grammatically correct. I do not want them to be, I want it to be how it is spoken to me. I am very pleased that you have chosen to read this and I believe that if you found it, it was not by chance, my hope is that you will gain something from it. I would like everyone that reads this to feel that it is not just about my journey, it is also about yours. Some people can hear; some can see; feel etc. We all have our own paths, some find it, some don’t. Some may feel as though they have nothing in spiritual abilities taking place. Everyone has an in-built ability. They either have not found it yet or do not want to. Please use my mistakes and understandings as a learning tool for you. Alternatively, it could be used as a reference to your own similar experiences. Sometimes just finding another who has had similar experiences is the confirmation that you may be looking for.

      I have had some wonderful support since starting this book, lots of encouragement and would like to thank all my friends and family for believing in me and believing I could do this. There is one particular person I would like to give special thanks to. Without whom I may have put it on the back burner a few times, heartfelt thanks for your constant encouragement and confidence in me. You have been my rock throughout. You all know who you are! Everyone’s support has made finishing this book achievable for me. Thank-you.

      Who Am I?

      I have been experiencing subjective (hearing through the mind) and objective (hearing externally as you would another physical human) clairaudience for over a year or so now and have decided to share with you what I have experienced and been told. I have had many experiences that started roughly five years ago in a dramatic way but this book is not about that, this is about focusing on clairaudience; and what people in spirit want us to know and understand.

      So, who am I? I am 39 years old, (2009) I live in the UK and I am a mother to three fantastic children, one, daughter of 19 has left home and my 21-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter still live at home with me. They are very aware of my work with spirit although I spare them the details! All three were still living at home when all the spiritual happenings/experiences occurred some five years or so ago. They know about my clairaudience and a lot of what has taken place but I do not preach to them about it. Their beliefs are just that, theirs, it is up to them what they believe in or not. This is my path, not theirs and it would not be fair to expect them to embrace it just because it is in my life.

      My father is clairaudient, so I guess it runs in the family. My clairaudience is quite different though. The thought projections I hear are almost constant if in a quiet environment. My father does not hear as constant as I do. I chose to open up to it, he did not, which has an obvious huge impact on how much you hear clairaudiently. I cannot say for sure why this happened to me at this point in my life but there was one experience just before it all started which I feel is directly connected to it. Maybe because of my mindset or perhaps there was more to it? I had gone through many years of emotional pain, ten years to be precise and when peace finally came, it was a huge turning point for me. One day after a month or so of feeling this way, I just stopped there and then. Physically and mentally just stopped in my tracks and thought about right now, how do I feel in my life? I felt peace after a long time. Instantly I felt love, I was smiling I recall. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and love for God, our father. I looked up slightly smiling and let it pour out to him. It was one of the best feelings I have ever experienced in those moments, I felt a real connection to God. I may not be religious or even have a named religion I stand by but my faith and my love for God is strong.

      In The Beginning

      After having a few years of various frequent spiritual experiences thrust upon me I decided to try out clairaudience. I felt that what was happening around
