    Introduction to this Study Guide

    Moses is well known as one of the greatest leaders in world history. The LORD led the people of Israel out of Egypt and to the boundary of the Promised Land through the leadership of Moses. However, Moses did not lead the people into the Promised Land. That responsibility was given to Joshua.

    Many people do not consider themselves to be a leader. More than likely, most people do not even think of themselves as being followers. And yet, in our everyday lives we are constantly moving between leading and following. We lead our children, our employees, our business associates, and members of our church. As followers we receive inputs from parents, bosses, partners, pastors, and teachers.
