      Intro.

      The ambulance is showing up, the fire department is there too. And then the pain. It is gut wrenching, unbelievable. It all happened so fast that for that moment you can't even remember, but the memory will return. And then everything that follows. The hospital, the surgery, the financial pressures. Missing your family, a strange bed, foods that are not your favorite. So many impressions, all while your brain is going a hundred miles per hour about this and that and what if, and if only. Doubts, fears, worries creep in, not to mention guilt, resentment, accusation.

      Trauma. We all run into it, one way or the other. Some are obvious, others are hidden. Some are physical with an emotional component attached. Others are emotional with sometime physical issues attached to it. Trauma comes in many many shapes and forms. But they all have one thing in common. They have an impact on the person suffering the trauma. And whether that is physical, emotional, self inflicted
