Each story is a life lesson with a moral intended to help children as they grow. The titles are Kara's Kapers with Katypillar in three volumes of three stories each, and Grannie's Bedtime Stories. She passed away in January 2013, leaving us her works.

      KARA AND KATY PILLAR GO TO THE FARM

      Kara, yelled Jason from the bottom of the stairs in the living room. Do you have your clothes packed in the suitcase?

      No, I’m playing with my Noah’s Ark animals, Kara yelled back.

      Kara!’ Jason said as he climbed the steps to his sister’s room. Mom wants to get going. We’re going to a farm where you can play with real animals. I’ll help you pack your clothes." Jason put her clothes in the suitcase and snapped the lid closed.

      Just a minute, Jason, I have to find Katy Pillar, Kara said looking around her room.

      Kara, you don’t need that old toy caterpillar, Jason said. I told you we’re going to a farm where there are real animals.

      I do need to find her Jason! said Kara as she stomped her foot. Katy Pillar is magic. She can make herself big or little.

      Well, Jason said, tell her to make herself big so you can find her fast. I’m going to take your suitcase to the car. Hurry up. I’ve got things I need to do." Jason left the room and went downstairs and out to the car.
