Holding the Bricks is a short screenplay about the beginning of the Mexican Drug Cartels in Guadalajara, Mexico in the year 1976. It is an adaptation from the first short story in the novella Back From The Bardo.

The author James Cage has been a writer for fifty years. Back from The Bardo Second Edition consists of four short stories: Holding the Bricks, Astral Andy and The Funny Bear, Germ Spreaders on a Train and The Mind of Frank Rosseus that create one novella. James has written the Spanish translation of Back from the Bardo as well as the screenplay Sambalanga and the short screenplay Holding the Bricks. He has also written a number of articles on the Capsim Business Simulation.During the 1970's, James lived in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico for eight years. He currently resides in New Jersey.
