    Ahhh -- but what did he know? And so I press onward in typical Dork fashion.

    This book is a compilation of tongue-in-cheek quips, snarky one-liners, snappy comebacks and deadpan sarcasm that defines my life as a Dork. While it's hard to define what it means to be a Cool Dork, I can readily state that humor defines me. It's what I live for. And without it -- life sucks.

    To ignore or avoid humor is to exist in mundane drudgery. To embrace it and share it can elevate you to a higher platform of real living -- increase your attractiveness -- and shatter defensive barriers faced in your routine.

    It's a fact that humor is subjective and relative. It varies according to the situation and type of presentation. Comedians struggle with these drawbacks and even the best of the best admit that not everyone will get their sense of humor. And typically, comedians have the advantage of props, physical movement, facial expressions and vocal inflections to enhance their humor.

    Relating humor in the written form deprives the joker of these added tools. All we have are words. So, phrasing and word-play become critical. And still, we know that our attempts will only appeal to just a select audience.

    With that in mind, this book is a compressed glimpse into my world of words.

    Other than the quotes, about 80% of what you'll see is original stuff I've used to elicit smiles from my circle of influence. Primarily used on social networks, the contents of this book highlight my undying love for turning a phrase or
