I'm Cal Noble and I'm a horror-holic. I love scary things. I read a lot of horror and I write mostly horror. Fans of horror know that term can mean a lot of different things. In general, I do not write splatterpunk. I loved the gorefests of the Eighties like the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the Thirteenth movies, but I don't write like that. I typically write supernatural suspense and supernatural thrillers. I like the traditional antagonists: ghosts, demons, Satan, witches, etc. In general, I prefer to write about realistic characters who find themselves in very screwed-up situations. I studied creative writing at the University of Alabama. Currently, my wife and I live in north Alabama with two wicked cats and a demon dog.

It was only four stories; it wasn’t like it would kill her. Many people survived higher falls. Then again, lesser tumbles proved fatal for a good number of people. Either way, there was no sense in tearing open scars to remind herself what the wound looked like. With a smile and a wave, she
