Chapter 1

Meet Omar

An eerie, heavy fog drifts over the city. Streaks of bright moon light break through, lending an even more creepy feeling to the city streets.

Lisa's house defies her middleclass neighborhood. It is neat and orderly. Her yard and porch are covered in flowers. An old fashion porch swing gently moves in the foggy night breeze.

But there is something amiss. There is a peeping Tom at the window.

The peeping Tom is a young man that we will later know is Brad. He is peering in the window, and through a crack in the not quite closed drapes.

He is about 28, easily 6 feet tall, about 180 pounds; handsome - in a strange, dark way.

He is wearing a plain dark suit with a conservative tie. He is using a small movie director's lens to view the inside.

Lisa and a very handsome - Omar Sharif look-a-like are having sex. She is very beautiful, about 25, five foot four, blond.

Omar is 45, dark Arab look, just beginning to get heavier.

A beautiful bedspread is folded on a chair. A rich menagerie of various animals in fine crystal is displayed on a chest. Movie magazines are on the bed side table. Lisa is obviously a material girl that is into glamour.

Omar pulls Lisa's slender body to his thick chest and holds her arms and shoulders tight to him as he performs rough sex. She noisily enjoys his actions.

Brad is focusing his lens at various angles on the facial expressions from one to the other of them.

The bright lights of a car come down the street and Brad has to hide. When the car has passed, he is back at the window - watching. He adjusts his lens to more weird various viewing angles as if he is preparing to shoot a film.

Lisa is noisily reaching a climax. Her breathing is getting faster - and louder.

The lens focuses on a close-up of her flaring nostrils - her heaving breasts flattened against Omar's body, her fists getting tighter.

Brad's face registers curiosity - then hatred. Finally tears.

But he is a professional. He gets hold of himself. He takes out a small pad and takes notes. The sounds of sex continue to seep out the window.

Suddenly there is a strange sound from the bedroom. Brad looks up from his note pad and looks in the window.

Lisa is having another climax and Omar is beginning his. He has his hands about her throat as he rears back. He squeezes tighter... tighter.

Lisa can't breathe. She struggles to move his arms - but he is too strong.

He rears back further. He opens his mouth to suck in more air. Brad can see that he has a gold tooth, inlaid with a deep blue faceted Safire.

The Safire catches the light and sparkles.

Brad's imagination makes him hear the sparkles.

Lisa is suffocating.

A flash from the tooth strikes Brad's eyes.

Brad seems to go into a rage.

He heads for the front door of the house. He thinks for a moment and runs to his car and gets his pistol from under the seat.

As he runs back towards the house, he hears them talking.

He looks in the window.

Omar, almost out of breath, pulls Lisa up to him, and in a heavy Arab accent and almost leering: Really makes it more intense. Doesn't it?

His gold tooth, inlaid with deep blue faceted Safire, sparkles in a sinister way.

Brad again hears the sparkle and flinches.

Lisa rubs her neck: Yeah - but you hurt me this time. You need to be easier.

Omar fiercely grabs her: No! Sometimes easy. Sometimes hard. And sometime, he leers at her: I may not stop. You'll never know.

Lisa gets up: You're too weird.

He pulls her back: And that's what you like.

She jerks away: Don't maul me!

Brad watches and looks down at his gun. He thinks a moment then puts the gun in his pocket.

He hears Omar's laughter from the house. Brad takes a quick peek and slumps to the ground.

Brad stares at the ground for a long moment as a sinister expression develops on his face.

He continues to think and stare at the ground for several minutes. He snaps out of his reverie when he hears a noise from the front door of the house. He looks around to see Lisa and Omar exit arm in arm, happy and joyous.

Omar is dressed in the finest of tailored clothes and jewelry. She is in a glamorous, off-the-rack dress.

The light fog swirls around them. They exchange a long kiss and each get in their separate cars and drive away with Lisa following Omar.

Omar has a rented Caddy. Lisa has an older Chevy. After a moment, Brad runs to his car and also follows. He drives a large blue Ford Sedan, typical of law enforcement agents.

All three arrive at Omar's hotel. Omar and Lisa give their two cars to the Valets and enter the opulent hotel. It is a glaring contrast to the simplicity of Lisa's neighborhood. Lisa obviously enjoys the opulence.

When they are inside, Brad drives up and watches for a moment. He brushes his hair back, and puts on heavy rim glasses. He gets out and motions for a Valet to park his car near-by. He gives the Valet a tip and cautiously enters the hotel, being careful that Omar and Lisa do not see him.

The Valet stares at the too small tip.

Omar and Lisa enter the dinning room, arm in arm. She glows with the glamour of the hotel. This is the world she likes.

Brad watches as they enter the dining room, it is almost full.

Omar and Lisa have a glass of wine. Omar smiles at her: You like it?

Lisa is a happy girl: Oh yes! It is...

Omar boasts: A five year old Chardonnay... The very best this restaurant has to offer.

Lisa gives him her best smile: I like very best.

Omar laughs; his Safire gold tooth sparkles: Yes. Yes, you do. He leans towards her: And you deserve it.

Lisa gives him another smile and a cute answer: Yes... I do.

He laughs again, and takes another sip of wine: How long have you been working for
