About this ebook
What is an ageless body? For health pioneers Drs. Patricia and Paul C. Bragg, who hold NDs and PhDs in the field of nutrition, an ageless body is one that incorporates a toxicless diet and strives to maintain its purity.
In Bragg Healthy Lifestyle - Vital Living to 120, the father-daughter team discusses the importance of watching what goes into our bodies – nutrients that contribute to our vitality and youth, as well as toxins that may unnecessarily accelerate the process of decrepitude. With constant vigilance, and healthy choices, it’s possible to live a long and active, vibrant and healthy life.
“You are what you eat, drink, breathe, think and do,” is the Bragg motto, and one that is explained throughout this book. From the foods we eat to our outlook, the environments we live in and even in our physical activities, the authors encourage readers to replace toxins with nutrients, flush out poisons and waste efficiently, exercise, and breathe deeply and well.
Paul C. Bragg, originator of health stores in America, and his daughter, Patricia, are world-renowned health crusaders. They have changed millions of lives through their books, teachings, lectures and media appearances.
Patricia Bragg and Paul Bragg
Patricia Bragg N.D., Ph.D., is a world-renowned lecturer, nutritionist, author of 10 self-health books, and the CEO of Bragg Live Foods, Inc., a company founded by her father, Paul C. Bragg, in 1912. Patricia has won international fame on her own in this field. Along with running this worldwide company, she conducts health and fitness seminars in California, Hawaii, Australia and many other countries. She is a sought-after radio and television talk show host and guest, and she consults with world leaders, film stars and champion athletes. Patricia and her father co-authored The Bragg Health Library of instructive, inspiring books that promote a healthier lifestyle, for a long, vital, and happy life. Patricia herself is the symbol of health, perpetual youth, and radiant, feminine energy. Paul C. Bragg is considered to be the father of the modern health movement in America. Paul opened the first Health Food Store in America and was the first expert to give lectures across America on the importance of health and diet. He and Patricia pioneered a health TV show from Hollywood that included exercises, health recipes, visual demonstrations and guest appearances by famous, health-minded people. Paul opened the first health restaurants and health spas in America. He created the first health foods and products and then made them available nationwide: herbal teas, health beverages, vitamin drinks, seven-grain cereals and crackers, health cosmetics, health candies, calcium, vitamins and mineral supplements, wheat germ, digestive enzymes from papaya, herbs and kelp seasonings, and amino acids from soybeans. Paul was a prolific writer, and much of his energy, passion and optimism can be seen in the books he and Patricia wrote.
