    When thirteen year-old Beth Ryder and her widowed mother move to a new home by the sea, their lives are changed forever when they meet a friendly family of aliens from another galaxy.     Temporarily parked in the outer reaches of the solar system, Galastra is so big that it's a world of its own, a magical world of starcars, house-ships, robots, holograms, and spaceships. Join Beth as she takes a journey to the stars, braves dangers, meets interesting aliens and robots, spacewalks, and discovers the wonders of Galastra.

    This is intended to be the first in a series of books about Beth's adventures on Galastra, and is an uplifting story that reminds us all that home really is where the heart is.
