About this ebook
Most people don’t really comprehend or understand the significance of the meaning of the cross. When Jesus died on the Cross, it was an act of unconditional love. God was meticulous and absolute when He laid out His plan of redemption for mankind as detailed in the Scriptures. His willingness to be abandoned, forsaken, to endure total darkness and to give up the glory that He once had with God the Father, is astounding beyond belief. And, because Jesus was forsaken and took the punishment that belonged to man, we have a guarantee, a promise, that God will never, ever, leave us nor forsake us. This book is intended to give you, the reader, encouragement, and to prove, through scripture that God has not and will not ever forsake you, no matter what! You are NOT FORSAKEN!

About The Author
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:4-5
Introduction
The Cross of Calvary is the central theme of the Holy Bible, and if there is a scripture that relates to the Cross better than any other, one that is connected to the centrality of this theme is John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Jesus is God’s only begotten Son, and the meaning of, He gave His only begotten Son
refers to Jesus’ dying on the cross in place of man because of man’s sins.
The verse mentioned above is testimony of the unconditional love; that which is without conditions or limitations that God has for the entire human race. Agape, in the original Greek, means love that is wholly selfless, or, an overwhelming compassion and insurmountable kindness that always seeks the highest good of the other person, no matter what he does. It is unimaginable to conceive what God did when He chose His son Jesus, to hang on the cross in order to make right what man made wrong.
Jesus, God’s own Son was born of a woman. God in His infinite wisdom devised a plan that only He could do. Jesus became flesh and lived among men. His life was sinless. Jesus, because His life was perfect, was the only suitable substitute that could appease the wrath
