    This book provides a history of human invisiblity, many stories about
    it occurring to different persons, current scientific research, and
    exercises to teach you how to become invisible yourself

    One historical story of invisibility as related in the Odyssey:

    As Odysseus passed through the city, 'not one of the Phaeacians
    could see him . . . for the great goddess Athene in her good will toward
    him had hidden him in a thick cloud of darkness.' Odysseus went straight through the court, 'still hidden by the cloak of darkness in which Athene had enveloped him, until he reached Arete and King Alcinous. Then did he lay his hands upon the knees of the queen, and at that moment that miraculous darkness fell away from him and he became visible.

      Is Human Invisibility for real? This is one of those powers that has been reported throughout history but seems so fantastic that it sounds ridiculous.

      This book provides a history of human invisibility, many stories about it occurring to different persons, current scientific research, and exercises to teach you how to become invisible yourself.

      Like most of my books I write from a Spiritual Perspective and try to help readers understand that these powers are side effects to greater spiritual growth.

      Any abilities can be used for good or evil. How you use human invisibility is up to you.

      Introduction

      This is the first book in my new series on Individual Spiritual Powers.

      In "God Like Powers and Abilities" I provided an encyclopedic overview of most of the spiritual abilities that have been claimed and observed over the centuries.

      There was a lot of feedback from customers that they wanted to know a lot more about individual abilities and how they worked. Therefore I decided to write this series

      In each of these books on specific spiritual powers my goal is to provide in depth knowledge and exercises on what these abilities are all about, and how one can develop these powers.

      I do not claim to have exercised all of these abilities myself, although I have experienced some—my most developed ability being Prophecy. (See my book "Prophecy: A History and How to Guide" for more details on that subject.)

      One thing to keep in mind that I try to emphasize in all of my books is that Spiritual Development is the goal not obtaining powers and abilities.

      One should not get side tracked into only wanting to manifest powers.

      In fact, many of these abilities will not manifest at all without a large amount of spiritual training and practice.

      There are many paths to spiritual development. I favor those using forms of meditation and can testify to meditation’s positive effect on my life over many years.

      As an engineer with analytical training, my favorite way of approaching these subjects is to take the following steps:

      Provide a background and history on the ability in question

      Show some examples—past and present of claims these abilities have been used in the past on purpose or by accident

      Discuss how the ability works or our best theories about it

      Provide any current scientific research related to the topic

      Practical exercises claimed to allow one to use the ability.

      A Summary and Review of what has been learned with recommendations of how to apply these lessons in our daily lives.

      In my forty plus years of studying the spiritual and paranormal, I have had many wild experiences. I don’t claim to have experienced everything I write about.

      However, my own experiences have led me to believe that most of these spiritual abilities—although many are fantastic—probably
