About this ebook
Solomon's Temple Treasure is currently hidden in a secret cave in a place where you could never have guessed.
The Treasure was originally taken from the Second Temple in 69 AD, just before the Romans sacked Jerusalem and the Temple. The Treasure was split up and hidden in 64 different places in and around Jerusalem. Those locations were documented on the Copper Scroll found with the Dead Sea Scrolls. The first of these scrolls were found by Bedouins in caves at Qumran in 1947. The Copper Scroll was later found in cave number 3 by professionals in 1952.
A search of the locations listed in the Copper Scroll revealed that the Treasure had been moved from the original 64 hiding places.
This is the story of how I traced the Temple Treasure to its current location and of the mixed, perhaps illegal plans to retrieve it.
The current value of the Temple Treasure is well over a billion dollars; my efforts to find and retrieve it were therefore a worthy treasure hunt.
I became interested in Solomon's Temple Treasure when I was approached by a Federal Inmate; we'll call him The Hat, to arrange financing for an expedition to bring the Temple Treasure from its remote hiding place to the United States.
He contacted me because I was making films at Universal Studios and he thought it would make a good movie. He hoped that the film project could generate enough money to fund the expedition.
He reasoned that he could not go to any authorities less the Treasure would be taken from him; after all he was in prison and had been ordered to pay millions of dollars of restitution. He was also under suspicion for additional crimes for which he had not yet been charged.
He believed at the time of our first meeting that his appeal would result in his release within about a year. He feared however that he may later be tried and sent back to prison for his additional, yet uncharged crimes.
He was also concerned about questions as to who owned the Treasure. Would it be the Israelis? Would it be the country in which the treasure is found? Would it take forever for him to get any part of its value for himself?
These concerns coupled with his fear that he would surely go back to prison because of the earlier crimes for which he was suspected motivated him to develop a plan. The first element of the plan was the need to get the Treasure safely placed in the hands of a separate party.
His ideas was to then have his attorney make a "deal" with the Feds to void all current and suspected crimes against him and give him a generous "finder's fee" for turning the Treasure over to them. The Feds would then work with the Israelis as necessary to have this great historical and economical Treasure returned to them.
Return of this Treasure would surely result in the building of the Third Temple. He reasoned that the Feds should view this as a viable plan that would return this great Treasure to mankind for the simple "price" of one man's freedom.
This is the story of what happened and where Solomon's Temple Treasure is today.

Treasure Hunt, Finding Solomon's Temple Treassure - Walter Parks
I became interested in Solomon's Temple Treasure when I was approached by a Federal Inmate — we'll call him The Hat — to arrange financing for an expedition to bring the Temple Treasure from its remote hiding place to the United States. The Hat had contacted me because I was making films at Universal Studios at the time. His thinking was that such an expedition would make a good movie. Furthermore, he hoped the film project could generate enough money to fund the mission itself.
History says that Solomon’s Temple Treasure was taken from the Second Temple in 69 AD, just before the Romans sacked Jerusalem. The Treasure was split up and hidden in 64 different places in and around Jerusalem, locations that were documented on the Copper Scroll found with the Dead Sea Scrolls. The first of these scrolls were found by Bedouins in caves at Qumran in 1947. The Copper Scroll was later found by professionals in 1952.
Copper Scroll
A search of the 64 hiding places listed in the Copper Scroll revealed that the Treasure had been moved.
The value of the Temple Treasure is well over a billion dollars; to find and retrieve it would therefore be a worthy treasure hunt.
The Hat reasoned that he could not go to any authorities lest the treasure would be taken from him; after all, he was in prison and had been ordered to pay millions of dollars of restitution. He was also under suspicion for additional crimes for which he had not yet been charged.
He believed that his appeal would result in his release within about a year. He feared, however, that he would later be tried and sent back to prison for his additional, yet uncharged crimes.
He was also concerned about who owned the treasure. Would it be the Israelis? Would it be the country in which the treasure is found? Would it take forever for him to get any part of its value for himself?
These concerns, coupled with his fear that he would surely go back to prison, motivated him to develop a plan. The first element of the plan was the need to get the treasure safely placed in the hands of a separate party.
His idea was that he’d have his attorney make a deal
with the Feds to void all current and suspected crimes against him and give him a generous finder's fee
for turning the treasure over to them. The Feds would then work with the Israelis as necessary to have this great historical and economical treasure returned.
According to The Hat, the return of this treasure would surely result in the building of the Third Temple, and he reasoned that the Feds would find the simple price of one man’s freedom a viable cost for returning this great treasure to mankind.
He told me the treasure was in a cave, and then told me approximately where the cave was located. Upon his release from prison, he planned to go with me to retrieve the treasure. Once it was safely in an accessible location in the United States, he would have his attorney make the deal
with the Feds before they pursued him for his other suspected crimes.
It was hard for me to believe his story. Before I could even begin considering such an adventure, I felt it necessary to confirm what he was telling me.
His plan required me to form an expedition and remove the treasure from its current remote location to a new hiding place in the US before we got the Feds involved. I had to consider the financial and legal risks, and before I could take such risks, I had to thoroughly study the evidence.
I also had to consider what to do if the Feds didn’t agree to release him. He would not be able to take me to the site and he had made it clear that he would not give me the precise location of the treasure unless he was released.
So, in an effort to determine if The Hat’s story could be true, I researched the movement of the treasure, a time span of about 2,000 years.
But I'm getting ahead of the story. What I discovered astonished me. His story appeared to be true. And if it is, Solomon's Temple Treasure is currently hidden in a secret cave in a place where most would never guess. This is the story of how I traced the Temple Treasure to its current location and of the mixed, perhaps illegal, plans to retrieve it.
Chapter 1
Treasure of First Temple
To better understand just what the Temple Treasure is, where it has been, and where it is today, we need to review some history. I will begin at the beginning.
David became King of the Jews in 868 BC and decided to build a temple to God. He eventually assigned leadership of the project to his son Solomon. The two of them spent many years planning the project, and although the basic design is ascribed to David (I Chronicles 28:1-19; II Chronicles 2-4; I Kings 6-7), Solomon eventually built the temple.
Solomon became king in 836 BC and finally started building the temple in 832 BC. He finished it about seven and a half years later in 825 BC.
Solomon's Temple
Before the temple, the Jews had a tabernacle. The materials assembled for the tabernacle are described in detail in Exodus 35-38 and summarized in Exodus 38:21-30. The total quantity of gold collected was approximately one ton. The amount of silver collected was 3-3/4 tons and the amount of bronze was 2-1/2 tons.
At today's price of gold, which is approximately $1,700 per troy ounce and $20,400 per pound, their one ton of gold would be worth $40.8 million. Silver is currently priced at approximately $35 per troy ounce, hence, the gold and silver used in the Tabernacle of Moses would be worth over $44 million today.
Exodus 12:35 states that at the time of their departure from Egypt, the Jews were given gold, silver, and ornaments by the Egyptians. The golden Menorah in the tabernacle weighed a talent and would today be worth about 1.5 million dollars for its gold alone.
The Ark of the Covenant, the Jews’ treasures, and their tabernacle were housed in a temple constructed within a tent
before the First Temple was built. The treasures were then housed in the holiest of holy places within the First Temple until the destruction of Jerusalem in 586 BC by Nebuchadnezzar.
According to Josephus (The Wars of the Jews, Book Five), the Second Temple apparently did not contain the Ark. The apocryphal book of II Maccabees (2:1-8) says that the prophet Jeremiah hid the Ark and the golden altar of incense in a cave on Mt. Nebo before the Babylonian exile.
Jeremiah was taken to Tahpanhes in Egypt by a remnant of the Jews after the fall of Jerusalem (Jeremiah 42:1-43:7), so it is conceivable that he secured the Ark in a cave on the way. Others say it is more likely that the Ark would be hidden under the Temple Mount or elsewhere in Jerusalem rather than on Mt. Nebo as some have speculated, which is about 40 miles east of Jerusalem. Perhaps the Ark perished in the flames when the temple was sacked and burned. Controversy over the fate of the Ark continues.
Getting back to the basic gold and silver treasure, it is known that most
