The following are ways to sell or license a product:
1. Sell or License to a Company – You sell or license your patent to a company who develops the invention into a product. The company markets the product to consumers, businesses, or government. You are compensated with a lump sum payment, fixed payments spread out over time, or royalties. The company may also buy your patent as a way to block their competitors.
