    My  life has been one big adventure.  My childhood was full of reading the classics like Treasure Isle, Robinson Crusoe, and The Swiss Family Robinson tales. During those rocky years writing became an emotional outlet.       I never quite connected with this book. The story was interesting, the mythology sound, the characters were well rounded but didn’t resonate with me. I felt that I was a sleepwalker the entire time I was reading it.Things happen one right after the next, there isn’t much chance to catch your breath. There’s a war on and the characters are in the middle of it.Tyra is a fantastic protagonist. She’s full of life and vigor and will grab the opposition by the balls and not let go. Rorik balances her out perfectly, strong but less fiery.For anyone looking for a good historical adventure that doesn’t involve a highlander or court intrigue, this is your book.
