    In 1990, Reverend Greg and Terri Nies were called by God to form New Beginnings Fellowship. They started this mission on the foundation of the Word and the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Acts 26:17-18 (NIV) “I am sending you to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light...”The Foundation...Greg attended Oral Roberts University, where he took bible studies. The earlier years of Greg’s walk with God were very active as God had him moving in the Holy Spirit.In 1982, Greg received a word of knowledge from a friend, Ralph Nault, to go check out the 700 Club. After talking with the 700 Club, Greg became a phone counselor and recruiter, where he met his future wife, Terri. Terri and Greg were married on April 23, 1983.In the mid 1980’s, Greg and Terri started Cutting Edge Ministries, through which they did prison seminars (starting with the help of Dallas and Linda Strom) and prison marriage seminars.In April 1990, they had their son, Daniel, who went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 1990. At 2 1⁄2 months old, Daniel died of SIDS.During this time, by the grace of God, the Holy Spirit brought Greg and Terri closer together in a special way. Their prayer and fellowship with Jesus Christ held them together and eventually was the basis of their future ministry to couples in prison and to couples who had lost a child to death. The Lord Jesus opened up the ministry of healing hearts to Greg and Terri after Daniel’s death.In 1990, Greg was ordained as a pastor after working in several churches with Terri. Soon after, Pastors Greg and Terri started New Beginnings Fellowship.By 2006, Greg and Terri have ministered through marriage seminars, prison seminars, community outreaches, bible studies, Holy Spirit seminars, discipleship, inner healing classes, planting churches in India and Africa, prayer and power evangelism. Greg and Terri recently received their Doctoral of Theology from Grace Theological College and Seminary. They are Founders of Cutting Edge Ministries, Senior Pastors of New Beginnings Fellowship, and spiritual parents to many.

      Foreword

      It has been an amazing journey and a privilege to be able to grow under the spiritual guidance of Bishop Greg. As someone who continues to grow under this ministry after several years, I can honestly say that I am who I am because of the uncompromised teaching of the Word of God that I received. The detailed descriptions of the many trips to heaven and the prophetic words throughout the years have both proven to be true according to the Word and an encouragement to press into God deeper. The Lord wants to move in each of our lives the same way. He is no respecter of persons, but desires all people to seek him and grow in deeper communion with Him.

      Bishop Greg’s first book, The Veil Has Been Lifted, has reminded the body of Christ of the Lord’s desire to open up the spiritual realm to us. God wants to share first hand heavenly experiences with us and in some cases, even show us more about hell. He wants to show us in order to get the word out quicker and be able to tell people that both Heaven & Hell are real!

      Preface

      This is another step in the spiritual walk of Greg Nies Sr. God has been leading him into the spiritual realm and giving him spiritual insights. He has written over 30 books relaying his time in Heaven and Hell, his personal testimony in My Journey Through Time and numerous devotionals including, From My Heart to Yours. In addition, he has written children’s book, John’s Travels. Today we walk with Greg as he takes us into the world of the Christian life.

      Introduction

      There is a constant battle for every person alive. It rages between Satan and Jesus and it will lead them into victory in the Spiritual Realm or the Natural Realm. ONLY by the victory in the Spiritual realm will we get to heaven for eternity. In the meantime, we are to live a life that is holy and separated unto Jesus. Our enemy, Satan, knows that and seeks to mislead, divert, discourage, lie to us, and to get us off tract. He knows that the only way he can hurt God is to get us to give up on God and heaven. We will observe the results of an average life by starting with the end and going back to see what really happened, and the results of the decisions that were made.

      The journey from the beginning of time is nearing completion. It is the time of finality and the end of all is approaching quickly. The signs are all around us and they are pressing into our daily lives. The Devil knows his end is near and he is trying to hurt God as much as he can before it is all over. His lies and tricks have been very effective and mankind has willingly bought the lie.

      Romans 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

      Jesus is declared to be the Son of God with power by the Holy Spirit: The power of the resurrection from the dead. He is the first born from the dead. When we die from our sins in Jesus, we are resurrected to a new life in Him. In Jesus, we are delivered from death in hell into a new life in Him. Jesus has always been the Son of God and the Father sent Him to restore mankind. He came as the second Adam to take back what the first Adam lost. By the resurrection from the dead, Jesus established a new way of eternal life for all of us.

      Rom 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name.

      Paul is stating here that it is through Jesus that they have received his grace and apostleship. He is clearing up the question that he[Paul] went out on his own. He not only received the grace and the calling to apostleship but he was sent because of his obedience to the faith. As they went on their different missions sent by the Lord, they went to many nations in the name of Jesus. This effort took dedication and perseverance over an extended period of time. It showed the faithfulness of Paul to take Jesus to many people in the far reaches of many lands. We should be so dedicated today.

      Romans 1:11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established.

      Paul was very eager to share the gospel with the Christians in Rome. He wanted to share all that the Lord had imparted to him with anyone that he could. Paul had a burning in his heart and soul, a fire that could not be quenched. The call of God was so strong in Him that he had to impart it. The only way to fulfill that call was to tell everyone he could talk to. The next step to go forward was to impart spiritual gifting’s to them. He knew that imparting these gifts was necessary for them to be established firmly in the kingdom. This was the first step in the spreading of the gospel and equipping of the saints.

      Romans 1:13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

      The church today is walking in ignorance of the truth of the gospel. Paul was very concerned about this happening in the lives of the people. He knew that unless they started to grasp the truth they would end up not bearing the fruit of the gospel. The church has become all bound up in religion while fighting about the smallest matters.
