About this ebook
Let's talk about first impressions. When does the first impression occur? Is it during your first handshake? Is it during your first interview question? Well...believe it or not...your first impression is made when you walk through the door and the interviewer greets you with a smile and a head to toe glance. A glance that is so subtle you don’t notice it. This glance is the beginning of your interview and is counted as your first impression.
Have you ever wondered why is it when some people show up for their interview, they look as if they've just stepped out of a business magazine and captures the attention of everyone in the office without saying a word? Do you realize that person has created an edge over the competition with a stunning first impression before answering any questions?
“Interview 1 On 1: The Look Of An Executive”
is a step by step guide on how to create that first impression and create your edge over the competition.
It’s the ebook to read before your next interview. A book designed to help the first time job applicant and a refresher course for the veterans.

Introduction
When I was a college student I was very blessed to work with some great mentors. Their patience, knowledge, and guidance were invaluable in preparing me to launch out into (what was for me at that time) the great unknown. Thanks to their wisdom I was able to see it as the great unlimited and I hope you’ll view the opportunities you have before you the same way.
Thankfully I survived the unknown and I’m continually tapping into the unlimited. I want to mentor and help as many students as I can to do the same. I’ve worked with a number of interns and interviewed many more. It’s my sincere desire to see each and every one of them excel. This book is being offered as a guide for those young men and women aspiring to be top-level executives. There are lots of qualities that contribute to your success in achieving that goal. The interviewer may test your knowledge, your experience, your ability to think under pressure or any number of tangibles and intangibles. Being well-groomed and well-dressed is also a part of the package. Although the interviewer will not ask specific questions about it, you can be sure your appearance is being evaluated. It is that part of the interview that I want you to be fully equipped to ace.
Some of you may think you know how to dress properly and you probably do. However, I’ve conducted enough interviews to know when a student has overlooked something or taken a shortcut. If you don’t believe me take a look at your shoes. Are they scuffed and in need of a good shine? Exactly! Make no mistake about it. When you go on sales calls, give presentations, enter into contract negotiations or operate in whatever capacity the company hires you to do, you’re going to represent the company. In whatever setting you’re in, you become the face, the image, and the ambassador of those who sent you. There will be lots of candidates competing against you to be that image and I want you to look like the one for the job.
The various sections of this book are labeled as executive packages instead of chapters. Each package will discuss the items you should own as an up and coming executive. If you don’t currently own them, you’ll definitely want to own them before you schedule your first or next interview.
Having said that, let’s get you ready to launch into your own great unlimited.
