      This book is the first in the Begotten Bloods series, and although I did enjoy reading it, the ending left me with several questions with regards to the 2 main Characters in this book. I am fine with the ending as a cliff hanger, as it left me wanting to learn more of these 2 main characters and find out what happened to them and what role they play in this series, however, I've finished reading book 2 and there is no mention of these 2 main characters anywhere in that book. So although this book is a good one to read, it does leave you with several questions. I am about to read book 3 in this series and hopefully my questions will be answered within that book.
