About this ebook

Even Crimson, warrior woman from another dimension, knows the legend of the Titanic: on her maiden voyage, the “unsinkable” ship struck an iceberg and plunged to the bottom of the Atlantic, taking with her more than 1000 souls. For us, that tragedy occurred long ago, but the timeline of Crimson’s life isn’t so simple. When our red-haired heroine awakes in a bloodstained first-class stateroom, she soon finds herself racing against time to save the doomed ship. But was it a mere iceberg that sank the famed vessel ... or was it something far more sinister?

“A Titanic Mistake” is the latest action-packed adventure in the saga of Crimson, semi-immortal champion fated to be reborn again and again across all of time and space. The e-book features two Crimson tales: the title story plus “The Candle Goes Dark, But the Light Remains” -- written to memorialize the tragically short life of Mr. Sullivan’s friend, Aalandria Edmonds.

In the delicate balance between between life and death, heroism can often tip the scales. Such are the challenges for which Crimson lives -- and dies. Get your copy of “A Titanic Mistake” today!

    A TITANIC MISTAKE

    ~ A Crimson Story ~

    Stephen D. Sullivan

It’s not often I wake up in a first-class stateroom, especially not when starting a new life. Yet, when I opened my eyes, that’s where I found myself: on a feather bed, staring up at a gilt-edge ceiling dappled with smiling cherubs. I lay there gaping, weighted down by my mail, three-quarters submerged in the bed’s plushness. The air smelled of fresh flowers and cinnamon. For a moment, I almost thought that I was living the life of someone else, someone not Crimson. Then I noticed that the walls were drenched in blood.

My re-birth is often festooned with gore. The gods have decreed that every time I die I will be reborn into the body of someone who was unworthy to go on living. The immortals call this a gift—but it’s a mixed blessing at best. You see, once upon a time, I made the mistake of being a hero. I sacrificed my life for the greater good, but that screwed up the plans of the deities involved, so this is my eternal reward. I didn’t get to have my life back; oh no, that would have been much too easy. Instead, I get to live out my life in the fragments of time that others have wasted.

Often, my new lives are very brief.
