As a Bible-believing Christian, I am so annoyed by the fact that so many Christians seem to want to make money from the Gospel. The Apostle Paul spoke about people who peddle the word of God for profit2 Corinthians 2v17. He also warned about people who treat godliness as a means to financial gain- 1 Timothy 6v5.

I have totally rejected for myself the idea of profiteering from the work of God, or the word of God. This is why this ebook is provided free. I encourage you to share it with your friends as necessary. Please do not merely take my own word for it on this subject of tithing - I encourage you to investigate this issue widely and to consider lots of viewpoints from different sides (please see Useful Links).

    1. I initially wrote this article in response to a challenge by a pastor in a now former church, just after he had repeated the supposed viewpoint of the leader of the denomination, that failure to tithe would take you to hell. Naturally I had to speak up against that assertion. Prior to compiling this ebook
