From the outside, I appeared to
have it all - an interesting career, a comfortable income, and a supportive husband. My inner self was quite different, however. Because I have ADD, I frequently felt overwhelmed by my life. I thought,
OK, so I have ADD. Now what? How can I regain control over my life? Thank heavens for Jacqueline's life-affirming book, Untapped Brilliance! Since I started following her simple but highly effective strategies for dealing with ADD, life is not only manageable but also enjoyable. My self esteem is on the rise and I am pursuing a long-standing dream at work. ADD is no longer the albatross it once seemed.

After following the suggestions outlined in Jacqueline's fabulous book, I found that many of the small steps not only lead to an obvious benefit that is measured by more production at work, but also adds to the quality and enjoyment of life, as if the blur and frenzy I used to experience has slowed down, giving me a chance to smell the profound scent that is life. Thank you, Jacqueline.
Gary Mallalieu, 40-year-old Teacher
Living with unmanaged ADD had left me deeply discouraged. A single mom of 2 small boys at 42... I was also recovering from bankruptcy, barely able to hold a job, practically friendless and completely exhausted from the constant struggle just to keep my head above water. Then I found Jacqueline Sinfield. Following her 11-fold path finally has me flowing with the current, not caught in the eddies! Now I’m happily cultivating a nurturing, anger-free home for my children and channelling my wellspring of ideas into exciting achievements: a circle of wonderful friends, a figure drawing portfolio and a healthy bank account balance!

A few months ago I was feeling a little depressed. I had recently moved to a new country and was struggling to get to settle down. After working with Jacqueline and following some of the steps outlined in her book I have noticed a big difference. I am now feeling more emotional stable, interact better socially, feel and look healthier (I lost 14lbs), and no longer feel the sadness I use to feel. I am able to be productive on a daily basis, which results in me feeling in control and good about myself and my life as I moving towards my life goals.
S.S., 24-year-old male, Student
I can commend the steps described in Jacqueline’s book: they have greatly improved my quality of life, beyond what words can tell… not forgetting the importance of the constructive mindset accompanying every step.

Introduction
One snowy Montreal morning, Barry, my 10.00 o’clock client, walked into my office with a big smile on his face. This was a very good sign as when he first started visiting me he had been in very low spirits. After removing his snow boots and taking off his coat, he asked:
Guess what day it is today?
Hmmmmm
, I thought, because nothing sprung to mind. I knew it wasn't his birthday, but I tried that anyway. No, this was not his birthday.
Guess again
he said. Perhaps an obscure holiday I wasn’t familiar with? No, that wasn’t it either. I tried a few more guesses and then Barry then told me that today was Coach Appreciation Day
. It wasn’t a nationally known holiday but it was Barry's coach appreciation day.
Barry wanted to thank me enthusiastically for the dramatic improvements he had seen in his life over the six months he had been visiting me. By working together and using the eleven steps outlined in this book, Barry was starting to feel and see the difference in his body and in his life. He looked physically healthier; his skin had a healthy glow (replacing a dull grey pallor) and his eyes had a sparkle where before they had been red and tired. His pot-belly was practically non- existent and his shoulders seemed broader. However, the physical differences were a secondary benefit; the most important changes were the ones that had happened internally. Barry reported feeling calmer and happier and had more confidence in his abilities and strengths. He had put the brakes on the craziness of his life, and now rather than reacting to everything around him, he was in control. He was having more time to enjoy his family and friends and was now taking steps to achieving his life goals.
The ‘Untapped Brilliance’ story
The eleven steps that comprise this book were developed to help solve a problem I repeatedly hear from my clients, which is ‘I have so much potential, why can’t I seem to achieve what I know I am capable of?’ I could see for myself how amazing the people were, but it was if they were standing in a swamp where the mud was weighing them down, making it really hard to maintain status quo, let alone any movements forward.
I realised there must be a way to untapped the brilliance of these incredible people so they could release all their potential.
The steps in ‘Untapped Brilliance’ form a strong foundation which, when in place, minimises the negative aspects of ADHD and allows all the magical and wonderful qualities of ADHD to be realised. The eleven steps that help to
