The two tall and fit looking FBI agents definitely looked out of place in the bucolic village of Solitude. Fannie and Dana happened to be walking up Dana’s driveway on their way back from the local quilt shop when the agent’s nondescript sedan pulled up in front of Dana’s Victorian style home.

I wonder who those two are? asked Dana staring at the handsome African American man with the shaved head who looked to be in his mid thirties and the raven haired Latino looking woman who looked to be a few years younger.

No we’re good, said Agent Reynolds as he pulled some papers from his brief case. This shouldn’t take too long. I imagine you heard about a car being hit by a train a couple nights ago on a rural road near here. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dana nodded. Of course, the crossings on the back country roads can be dangerous. They aren’t marked and people from outside the area don’t realize they’re on a crossing until it’s too late. The newspaper said they were having trouble identifying the victim.

Agent Gonzales spoke up. The state police contacted us when they discovered several weapons in the vehicle and what appeared to be some forged identification on the victim. We discovered that he is one of Interpol’s most wanted men.

Fannie, who had seemed bored by the conversation, finally spoke up. What’s this Interpol and what does any of this have to do with us?

Interpol is a world police organization. One hundred and ninety countries share information with each other, replied Agent Reynolds. "We’re getting
