About this ebook
An expository commentary on the Special Education Program in the United States, this work offers anyone with an interest in education an inside look at how IDEA is implemented, or not implemented, on some public school campuses. This is not an academic work; the author only offers insight based on his 17 years experience as a Special Education Teacher and as a Special Education parent. The short work also includes contributions from other teachers, of varying experience and success. The goals and objectives of this work is to instigate conversation regarding the nationwide implementation of this educational program, and the state of education as a whole.
R.M. Barron
Robert Barron is first and foremost a retired Navy Hospital Corpsman who was fortunate enough to have traveled the world. This service afforded him front line experience in an area important to him, the global sexual exploitation, degradation, and humiliation of women. After military service, Robert earned his Texas State Teacher License (Lifetime) in Special Education, and while he is not currently teaching in the classroom, he continues to teach via his writings and publications. Though not a card carrying member of any organization or association, his work benefits various non-profits, as well as The Joseph Marcus Barron Memorial Scholarship. He strives to serve as a global advocate for human and civil rights, advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves. Read him. You can contact Robert at dhesbarpublications@gmail.com.
