About this ebook

It will be seen in the poems how the Nigerian people have suffered immensely and persistently in the hands of their ignoble leaders over the years. The poems give a picture of the oil crises in the Niger Delta region of the country. Some of the poems in Daura Girl are however happy and romantic ones. There are even some touches of satire in some of the poem. The poems will ultimately be refreshing to every reader that is linked to or knows something about Africa.
