    If I can write a novel, then you surely can! I've been writing since 2007. I’ve also been a stay-home dad since 2007. Hmm—coincidence? My primary genre of preference for writing (though, what exactly is a genre anymore) is YA/ MG fiction, but ultimately I go wherever the story takes me, whether short story, flash fiction, or adult fiction. And when I say YA, I mean more like J.K. Rowling, not Sarah Dessen. My alias is J. Paul Wallace. I am a prime example of someone who can write, minus all the education and acronyms at the end of my name.

      This is the sequel to the ebook So you want to write a novel..., the little writer’s guide that packs a major punch, and has helped thousands of writers along their own personal journeys. Although this ebook may not be a true sequel in the strictest sense of the word, it is still the next logical step to take after you’ve written your hugely amazing story. Now it’s time to get that story out to the masses, and what better, faster, more efficient way to do that than by publishing it online for all the whole world to find.

      This publishing guide isn’t as much a how-to guide as it is a what-to guide—a what-to-use-in-order-to-publish-a-kick-ass-ebook guide. I’m offering it to help you become self-sufficient. I’m offering this guide because I know all the confusion surrounding self-publishing and digital books. Trust me; I went through it first-hand, and I’m glad I struggled through the whole process and persevered, because I’m not only a better author for it, I’ve become truly independent. I don’t need to have anyone hold my hand through the publishing process, and I hope that this little manual will do the same thing for you as it did for me—free you of your cocoon, and give you wings to fly.

      In case you haven’t read my first writer’s guide, it was published solely as an ebook. So, perhaps having already put the cart before the horse, I’m now offering a what-to on publishing your story as an ebook. On your own. With no help. Don’t worry, you can do this, and you shouldn’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to have someone else do it for you.
