My parents brought me up with a huge love of reading. Bedtime stories were a treasured time of adventure and mystery. Romances were the fuel for many a teenage fantasy and my passion still lingers for deliciously smouldering heroes. My daughter persuaded me to write my first book. She wanted one with all the exact ingredients just for her. She loved the tale so much that I published A Perfect Summer. Writing has turned into a grand passion. I couldn't stop at just one book and so I began another. Fifteen books later, I am still full of ideas. Historical romance is now my favourite genre. All those fabulously titled and passionate men are impossibly hard to resist.

But needs must, and she had to live somewhere. She spent most of her time inside her little tent. Away from prying eyes, away from the constant jabber of thoughts, that flew at her like a flock of birds. Each time she made eye contact with a human, the noise almost drove her insane. The only person she could tolerate was Madely. Madely was her promoter, a young man with fiery red hair worn short, and piercing blue eyes. He was just one of many promoters. The others before, Geisha had outlived. She asked nothing of them, so they asked no questions. It was easier that way.

Geisha owned very few clothes, she had no need of them. It was much easier for her to dress as a Japanese Geisha,
