About this ebook

This collection of poetry is all about nature, stories, and the things we see and use every day. It is broken into 5 sections each with 5 poems. It was only fitting that all the sections have an art theme. The first section, Abstracts, explores different views of the world and the things we value. Realism contains poetic descriptions of worldly things. Mosaics are stories written in poetic form. Landscapes are beautiful scenes described through poetry. Pastels are colorful poems that sometimes secretly describe more than one thing.
I have also included Author’s Notes at the end and I have provided links if your browser supports them. I use my notes to introduce myself to the reader and to provide insight into what inspired me to write each poem. I may also give hints to some hidden messages within the poems.

Awphul poetry is the epitome of bad poetry. It often has meter, it often has rhyme, and it usually isn’t too abstract; it is almost everything that modern poets truly hate. The lines and stanzas almost never end mid-sentence, or with a preposition or conjugation. At times it can be musical or humorous which will make most poetry lovers cringe with an intense, searing disgust. It’s like washing down a mouthful of needles with a glass of vinegar, only less stimulating / inspiring. At least something truly awful will leave an impression, but awphul poetry is apparently so incredibly bad that it simply kills off your brain cells leaving no memory of the traumatic experience. So one must wonder why anyone would bother to consume this toxic mental concoction? One must also wonder why anyone would continue to write such unwanted garbage knowing full well that almost no one will ever want to read it? Then again, poetry has always been a way of sharing one’s pain with the world. If you’re going to suffer through a book of poetry, why not try something awphul?
